Maori Colours

Timothy, Cullai and Tolati have been learning the colour names in Maori. One of the tasks was to look for  of objects in your house (whare) that matched the colours.

Joscior's Snail Story

 Joscior's enjoyed watching Mrs.Shirely show us her snails at our Google Meeting. He went onto the slide deck and watched some video's about snails. He worked hard at completing the tasks for the day.

Tolati's home learning

 Tolati enjoyed the home learning tasks on Monday. He drew some lovely pictures of insects and shapes.

Maths- addition

One of the tasks for Team One's home learning was find different ways to make 10. Cullai enjoyed finding things in his house to help him complete this task. He was creative and found various ways of making ten.

Timothy's Snail Writing

 Timothy enjoyed listening to the story called " The snail and the whale." He wrote a story about it.

Crazy weather

Over the last few day the weather has been strange. One minute it will be sunny and beautiful and the next moment it all changes with very hard showers of rain. The task for our home learning was to write about being outside and then being inside. Joscior wrote a lovely story about this.

 This week Joscior is learning about the letter Pp. One of his home learning task was to look for things  in his house starting with a Pp.

Crazy weather.

During the week the weather has been extreme. It changes very quickly from warm and sunny to stormy and rainy. Mrs. Squires slides had a rainy day story and children had to write about the weather. Cullai enjoyed the home learning tasks. He worked hard at writing some tricky words.

Tolati's Spelling Words

 Tolati has been learning his red, yellow and blue reading words. He can not only identify them but can spell them as well.

Timothy's S words

One of Tuesday's learning tasks was to find things in your home that starts with the letter S. Timothy enjoyed this activity. He had to go scavenger hunting for objects at home.

Joscior's Fish

 Joscior can write a sentence with the support of his mum. He listened to the recording and wrote down the words for the sentence. Joscior knows a few words and is learning the alphabet names and sounds.

Timothy's 'ay' and 'ai ' words

Timothy watched the video on the home learning slide on 'ai' and 'ay' words. He listened to the sound bite and wrote down all the words.

 

Colours

 Whaea Saff created a lovely slide deck with lots of exciting activities. Cullai loved searching for objects in his house to match the colour names in Moari.
