We are learning to draw shapes on our iPads.

Snack Time Super Hero

 AJ always brings healthy snacks to school. AJ won the snack time super hero prize at our whole school gathering today. He got some bananas.

                                AJ said: "I will go home and put them in the basket. I like bananas."

Duffy Certificate Term 2 Week 4

 Today at our whole school gathering Athena got a Duffy Certificate for always helping others in the classroom.

Nice and Healthy

 In today's lunchbox we got some delicious sandwiches filled with chicken and cheese slices. We also got some cucumber slices, carrot sticks and an oat biscuit. We loved today's lunch!

Term 1 Week 3 Duffy Certificate

Today Khadafi got a Duffy Certificate for coming to school each day and getting organised for learning every morning. Khadafi loves stories about dags.

What's in today's lunchbox?

 We were so happy to see cheese and crackers in our lunch box. It was the first time we got this snack. We all loved it and hope the we get it again. Cheese is good for us because it has calcium and protein.

Aita, Venise and Freya like cheese.

Athena said : " It's so crunchy."

Week 3 Class Certificates

Every Thursday is Certificate Day.  

Benjamin got a certificate for always listening

to the teacher and trying his best.

Leylah got a certificate for doing 

wonderful reading at home.

 Little Teddy is falling off the shelf. Monkey and rabbit help him up and and they make some room for him.

We are so excited today because we are learning to take photo's our iPads.

Mey-Lee and Athena are taking photo's.

They are working in a team and help each other.

Athena is so proud because she can take photo's 

all by herself.

We got cheese sticks and muffins in our lunch box. Cheese sticks is something new for us to have in our lunch box and we loved them.

What's for lunch?

Our school lunch for today was, wraps. They were filled. with chicken and salad. The children enjoyed having wraps for lunch today. Yummy.....

Athena said, "I love wraps."

Leylah, Aisha and Delyla like chicken. 

Bejamin said, " I like the carrots. They're nice 

and crunchy."

Keni said, " Water is good for me."

Term 1 Week 2 Duffy Certificate

On Friday, Freya got the Duffy Certificate at our whole school gathering for drawing awesome pictures. Well done Freya!

Fun Friday

 On Friday the children in Team One got a treat from their teachers. It was a very humid and muggy day. All the children enjoyed the cool taste of the ice pops.

Loose Tooth

 Keni had a loose tooth. He was excited to take it home and show it to his family. 

New Shoes

 Leylah was really excited to show us her new shoes.

Leylah's aunty bought her new shoes.

Leylah likes her new shoes because they are 

nice and comfortable.

Welcome to School

 On Friday at our whole school gathering we welcomed all the five year old children that started school.

This is Delyla. 

She was really excited to receive a 

Duffy Activity Book and Book Bag.

Welcome back to school -Term 1 2022

 It was so nice to go back to school and see everyone. The children  in Room 18 were excited to see their friends and anxious to meet their new teacher and go to Year Two.

We had an assembly outside in Te Kapua. 

Some of us were anxious to meet our new teacher and classmates.
