This is my writing now. I have an idea to share. and can write letters correctly and neatly. I am learning to  leaves spaces between my words. Mrs. Lal is so proud of me and I am so happy.

The clever and creative children in Room 18 have been trying to find out various ways to move objects using simple machines. We had heaps of fun and hope you enjoy watching our movie.

The teachers is the team created this movie for our immersion assembly.

Birthday celebrations

On Monday the 19th of February, Cayden celebrated his 5th birthday. He came to school with a big smile and ice blocks for all his classmates. The best part of the day was that it was also his dad, Boaz birthday.  This is what Cayden had to share:

I love you.

Me, my mum, dad, and my sister Kaylee went to
McDonalds for breakfast to celebrate my birthday.
I had some pancakes.

Swimming Time

This week the children in Room 18 went swimming to the Glen Innes pools. They were so happy and excited and many of them were confident in the water. They listened to the instructors and always tried their best.

Ready to go! Yeah!

They had enter the pool safely using the ladder.
The others waited waiting for their turn.

We tried to do a starfish holding the bar.
 The children tried to hold their breathe for 5 seconds.

Time to get the float boards out and start kicking.
