Part of Wednesday learning was listening to story called "Handa's Surprise." One of the tasks involved drawing a map, starting at Handa's house. Aroha had to show the order in which the animals took the fruit. Aroha had to label the animals and the fruit.

Writing the letter Ff
As part of out home learning slides the teachers always set some challenging Maths problems to stretch and grow children's minds and they love it. Well we have one smart cookie showing us how it's done.
Caylee's Maths
Paula enjoyed listening to the story "Ten magic butterflies." He watched the video's and put lots of effort in his learning.
Last term Ms. West joined our class meet and taught us how to do a stop motion animation. She made a video so that we could follow it and learn. Thank-you Ms. West.
Micheal created this animation with the support from his family.
Aroha is a clever girl and can count forwards and backwards in 5's. She has been practising her handwriting and answering some challenging Maths questions.
Faith worked hard at completing the home learning tasks for today.
Faith listened to a story of a young girl with a special illness. She felt sad for Camilla because she was treated very badly at school.
This is what Faith said:
"If I was in her school, I would’ve told her to just ignore all the kids that was laughing a her And would also tell those kids to leave her alone. "
When she got better at the end, I felt happy for her.
Faith's dad has been teaching her how to do a 15 meter beep test. She said, "It was really hard at the beginning but once I understand it I then pushed myself really hard. My time was 9.2, my dad was so proud of me."
After having a good break, they all learned how to tackle. Faith can’t wait to play sports with her friends again.
Caylee has entered this video for her Church's Lockdown Talent Show. Caylee loves singing and sang one of her favourite songs from school called "Ko te Whaea."
Aroha has been coming to every team and class meet since we have been in lockdown. She works hard to complete all the home learning tasks.
Part of the home learning task was to put a toy somewhere in your house and write or tell someone instructions about how you found it.
Arthur enjoyed completing this activity.
Caylee does cheerleading and because we at Alert Level 3, Caylee does zoom meets with her cheer leading group. At one of her meets they had craft time. They were asked to make an inspirational quote poster for themselves. Caylee made up this quote “Don’t give up, just keep trying Caylee!”
Israel and his mum made a taniwha. Israel painted his with different colours, decorated it with glitter, pom poms and googly eyes. He had heaps of fun making his taniwha.

Israel also done some writing with his Dad.
