Every morning the children in Room 18 did brain gym. We are  continuing doing brain gym as part of our online home learning tasks. Here is a video of Serena doing her exercises.

 Serena enjoyed doing the home learning task. She created her very own memory game. Serena and her had fun playing the game. 

                         

The Letter Rr

 Today's online learning was all about the letter Rr. Micheal went looking for things that start with R. 

Micheal found a remote, a radio, some ribbon, 

rubber bands and red roses.

Home Learning Day 2

 It was really good to see the children in Team One on the Google Meet hangouts this morning. Here was our learning for today:

Joscior practised writing the letter Rr and drew a 

lovely picture to match his writing.

Serena's Home Learning Day 1

 Serena has been doing amazing learning at home. Her mum, Tina has been supporting her with the activities and together they created this wonderful presentation.

Online Learning for 2021 Day One

 Today we did our very first Google hangout session for the year 2021. The news of the lockdown happened suddenly but in saying that we had a number of children joining our hangout and completing the online activities. A very big thank-you to all the parents supporting your children with this.

The Duffy Theatre

 On Friday we had a very special treat. The Duffy Theatre came to our school and did a play. It was all about Dufffy and his sister staying at his Aunty's place on the farm during the lockdown. Just like everyone in the country Duffy also had to do online learning. The play was really funny and we had a good laugh. Thank-you Duffy Theatre.

School Lunches

The children at Pt. England School were really excited to receive their lunches today.  Our school along with many other schools will be receiving free lunch every single day for the year 2021. This healthy lunch programme is funded by the government and we are truly blessed to be part of this programme. Thank-you.
