A Christmas Surprise

Today we had a big surprise. All the children got a Christmas Gift Box from Mrs. Harris. She is Mrs. Shirely's friend. We were so excited to receive these wonderful gifts and couldn't wait to open them. Mrs. Harris also got gifts for our Mothers or the person who looks after us. She is such a kind and generous lady. Thank you Mrs. Harris for the awesome gifts and making us so happy. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  May God Bless You and the things you do for others.

Junior Carnival Day

We had a fun day at school today even though it poured with rain. There were various sport activities and games organised for us by the Kelly Sports team, then we went and played with water guns and went on the water slide that was managed by Ms. Va'afusuaga. We squirted water on Ms. Ana and she was drenched. Mr. Whippy came and we all had ice cream. At lunchtime we had a pizza party. Just when we thought it was all over we had a surprise! Santa came to our class and gave us lollies. We were so excited and happy. We had an awesome day!

 It has been really hot and we had some ice pops. It was nice and cold.

Prize Giving

We had our Prize Giving celebration today. We had it outside because we had to social distance. The celebration was live streamed so our families could share this special occassion with us. It was a beautiful sunny day. Lots of children got awards for their hard work and efforts in their learning. Then we went onto the stage and sang a song for the school and our parents. It has been a fantastic year and everyone is so proud of us! Later that day, the teachers decided to have our own little celebration so that they could shake our hands and give us our awards.

Lizzy the Lizard

 During playtime Caylee, Aroha, Faith and Genevieve found a baby lizard. They decided to called it Lizzy.  They took care of Lizzy and found her a new and safe home.

Happy Father's Day

Certificate Day- Term 3 Week 2.

 At our team assembly this week Serena and Paula got certificates.

Paula is working hard at learning his words for

 our spelling tests on Friday

everyone with their learning.

Netball- The Sparkles

The Sparkles,  are happy to be playing netball again. They are a fantastic team that gets along well and has mastered a variety of skills.

Faith wants to shoot the ball through the goal.

 Ms. Ana has been coming to classroom to help us with our learning. She also plays with us at playtime. Ms Ana is very clever and has lots of skills and talent. We love you Ms. Ana and appreciate all that you do for us. 

Our School Trip

Last term the children in Room 18 went on a school trip. to Kelly Tarltons. For some of us it was the very first time. We had a lovely day. What a great experience!

End of Term 2

It's been a long and busy term with lots of things happening. Everyone is looking forward to holidays. The children in Room 18 wants to wish everyone a happy holiday. See you all back again in Term 3.

Finish it off properly

Caylee can save all her Explain Everything projects into the correct folders in her drive. At first she needed support from the teacher but now Caylee can do this all by herself. She is also teaching and helping her classmates save their work.

Whole School Cultural Event- Fiafia

We had a whole school cultural event called "Fiafia". Every child in the school participated in this event. Mrs. Carter and I were managing and coaching students in the Bollywood Group.
