We love reading

 Today we got to choose two books to take home and read. We were so excited and are so very thankful to get these books. We love the stories and pictures in these books.

Aroha's class family

 This week the children in team one are learning about their role in the classroom. Aroha enjoyed the doing the activities and worked really hard to complete them. In the video below Aroha shares her work and shows us her class family.

Telling a story

Arthur used the picture to tell a story. He enjoyed doing the Maths Tasks and reading a book.

Making words

Tevita got this week's Duffy Certificate. He has been learning at home and can identify some sounds in the alphabet.

Kitty Cat and Fat Cat

Niah enjoys reading. She knows lots of words and can talk about what happened in the story. Niah is learning to make other words from known words.

Lost

Cullai liked listening to the story called "Lost." He listened to an audio recording of the sentence and then he wrote the words for his sentence. Cullai wrote the sounds for some tricky words by himself. He read his sentence to his mum and she helped him spell those difficult words. Cullai is so happy and proud of his learning. He wanted to share his work with everyone.

Listening to stories

Timothy has been going online each day and doing all the activities planned for that day. He enjoyed listening to the story called "A starfish for Oscar."

Jahnaeyah's learning

Jahnaeyah enjoys doing all the activities in her Home Learning Pack. She has been learning about dinosaurs. Jahnaeyah can trace over the letters and answer some of the questions.
