Sam and the waves

Imogen has been working hard to complete her reading EE projects. She enjoyed reading about Sam and the waves. Imogen goes for swimming lessons and loves making waves in the pool just like Sam.

Kiwi sport

The children in Rm 18 have been learning lots of skills at Kiwi sport this term. They have been thinking about what they can do at gymnastics and writing about it in their books.

Yesterday we had our first netball game for the Year One girls. They played against Sylvia park. The girls played really well and had a good game. We are so proud of all of them. Maddison got player of the day. She kept her feet glued to the ground when passing and with the help of her team mates she managed to score a goal.

Maddison was very happy.
Well done you!

Reading is fun

Catherine really enjoyed the book "Snowy gets a wash." She worked hard to complete her iPad activity and finished her work off properly. Well done you, Catherine!

Happy Mother's Day.

The children shared some lovely stories about what they did for their mums on Mother's Day. Lots of the children made cards. Maddison gave her mum a charm bracelet and some perfume. Imogen got her mum some balloons and other children gave their mums chocolates and flowers. To all the mums out there"Wishing you a Happy Mother's Day!"

The children in Room 18 have been learning all about bees: What they eat ,where they live and how they travel from place to place? I have been asking children to tell me what they think about "What is happening to our bees?" We hope you enjoy our movie and please leave us a comment.

Reading

Harmony has been learning to complete her reading task on her Explain Everything project. She liked reading about Little Chimp and Big Chimp. She said, "Little Chimp is naughty!"
